Field Service Technician

Innovative Medical Systems is a local medical equipment distributor with territories across Arizona, New Mexico, El Paso, and Las Vegas. We have built our company on superior customer service and teamwork. Our service team, which is responsible for the installation, repair, and maintenance of medical equipment, is seeking a hard-working field service technician. The ideal candidate will be a problem solver who can handle a wide range of responsibilities and is responsive to customers' needs.

What you'll do (not limited to):

- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve technical problems due to equipment or end-user error
- Comprehend customer requirements and make appropriate recommendations/briefings
- Manage onsite installation, repair, maintenance, and testing activities
- Coordinate logistics and workflow required to complete service work
- Provide technical phone support to customers, contractors, and team members
- Complete service reports in a comprehensive and timely manner
- Operate company vehicle in a safe manner and use field automation systems
- Learning and utilizing all IMS and partner databases, tools
- Provide exceptional service and customer support
- Work as a team with other team members and share information across the organization

Qualifications:

- 1+ years of mechanical and/or biomedical experience OR successfully completed training in these areas.
- Must be able to lift 100 lbs. and be able to be on ladders for extended periods of time
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule including some nights and weekends as needed
- Must be able to travel up to 40%
- Pass Background Check & Drug Test
- Valid Driver’s License and Motor Vehicle Insurance
- Acceptable Driving Record
